Karl Storz Image1 Hub Camera Control Unit with Three Chip H3-Z Camera Head

The IMAGE 1 HUB™ HD family constitutes the backbone of the KARL STORZ FULL HD Imaging System. The 1,920 x 1,080 resolution of the camera control unit (CCU) and the progressive scanning method guarantee interference-free image and natural image reproduction. Time-efficiency combined with maximum patient safety mark a new milestone in the evolution of endoscopic imaging.

The entire IMAGE 1 camera control unit family features the STORZ Communication Bus(SCB).This unique property allows for the integration of the camera control unit with other KARL STORZ devices into a highly connected endoscopic surgery system controllable by the camera head buttons or a central touch screen.

The monitor over lay of status information like light intensity and flow is provided to the surgeon along with easy access to crucial control functions. Light sources and insufflators, all device controls united in one hand!

The subsequent installation of additional connectivity options is supported by an optional slot concept. One example is the dual SDI output for long range video data transmission.

No separate image capture box is required to print or archive still images or video with the camera control units IMAGE1HUB™HD with ICM and IMAGE1HD with ICM. Front and rear USB connectors allow for simultaneous connection of USB mass storage device and printer. Still images can be captured in FULL HD resolution whereas videos are captured in SD resolution. Push button, out of the box image printing is supported for USB printers. Two USB flash drives come with the delivery.

Integrated image enhancement and brightness control complement the standard feature set. Special fiberscope modes allow excellent image quality for interventions with flexible telescopes and small scopes.

IMAGE 1 Camera Heads, regardless of whether they are high definition, standard definition or designed for video endoscopy, will continue to work in conjunction with the IMAGE 1 HUB™ Camera Control Unit. The KARL STORZ philosophy aims at a long and future-oriented partnership with our customers.

Our standard FULL HD camera control unit with both HD and SD head receptacle. Augmented with ICM module, the unit allows printing as well as still image, movie capture and out of the box image printing by a simple push of a camera head button to suitable USB devices. TheCCU is ready for OR integration through its SCB interface. Optionally the unit can be equipped with an SD-SDI interface for long range video signal transmission.
